2. Setting:
• Name of the place: Gold Inn
• Physical description: A small cosy home with a French window and a sofa right next to it.
• People in general: They have stayed in this house for a long time and they are well accustomed to the entire place. A wall has been maintained to show the height of the child growing.
• What does this place mean to the main character: She has grown in this house; she shares a special bond with the house.
• Why does the action in the story take place here?
The protagonist waits for her father here anxiously here, this shows her intimacy with both her father and the house as well.

• Physical description: A big house with a swimming pool and a lot of space for parking. The garden is big and there is kennel as well so that a dog can be kept as a pet.

Exposition: The heart problem Katherine faces and how anxious Kimberly is towards her speedy recovery.

6. Conflict:
• Man versus System: Katherine tries to find her donors family.
• Tradition versus Modernity: Katherine hasn’t found herself a husband when she is 29 years of age.
7. Complication:
• The first complication arises when Katherine collapsed when she was playing Basketball in her university.
• The second complication is that she has not found a husband and Kimberly is already married and also has a house of her own and is also expecting a child.
• Rising Action: She tries to look for a partner she meets all sorts of people but she doesn’t connect with any of them.
• The third complication arises when she faints in her work place; she gets admitted again in the hospital as she had a heart burn.
• She then realises that she better stop and think of what she needs to do. She then decides that she has to meet the donors’ family.
• The fourth complication arises when she tries to meet the donors’ family; she feels she has a bond with the donors’ family.
8. Climax: She meets the donors’ family and feels sad she tries the meet up with the donors’ husband and starts to have feelings for him. Her brother explains that what she is trying to do is wrong but she doesn’t listen and she goes out with the man, things don’t work out and she is left heartbroken.
9. Falling action: When she sits in Café Action and sips her hot coffee a man keeps on observing her, she then walk over to his table and is amazed to find her high school classmate, he is a basketball coach in her old school. She then spends some time with him and they decide to get married after a few days, they felt that they still share the bond which they had as teens.
10. Resolution: Both Kimberly and Katherine have a success full life, they have their own jobs and both are world renowned celebrities.
11. Point of view: Omniscient point of view of the narrator, knows all thoughts, motives and feelings of each character.
